Forbidden Island - a game that dares to be different this Christmas

Forbidden Island is a new game launched just in time for Christmas.

Forbidden Island is a adventure game designed for 2-4 player aged over 6 years.

Players become fearless adventurers on a do-or-die mission to capture four sacred treasures from the ruins of a perilous paradise. They work together making some pulse-pounding manoeuvres as the island will sink beneath every step. It is a race against time to collect the treasures before they are swallowed into the watery abyss.

Our family loved it and we highly recommend it as a Christmas gift which both children and adults will enjoy.

The first wonderful thing you notice about the game is that it does not come in a cardboard box but in an attractive tin with wonderful, mysterious images tempting you to investigate further.

Secondly, if your children are prone to squabbling and all like to win leading to family conflict, this game is a must as it encourages them to work as a team pitting their wits against the game itself.

The game lasts for just 30 minutes per session so keeps younger children engaged without them losing interest.

My 10 year old adored this game as he loves entering fantasy worlds when he reads or plays. We liked the fact that we can say yes to play more often knowing that a session lasts just half a hour so can always be fitted in with other priorities.

Forbidden Island is exciting and stimulates the imagination. We love it.
RRP for Forbidden Island is just £17 and it is available from www.amazon.co.uk and retailers listed at www.coiledspring.co.uk
