Easy Mince Pie Recipe from Jus-Rol

Jus-Rol Christmas Mince Pies Recipe

Preparation Time: 20 minutes or under

Makes 16 mince pies

Total Time: 30 minutes


500g Jus-Ro all-butter shortcrust pastry thawed
200g mincemeat
Caster Sugar for sprinkling


Preheat oven to 200 degrees centigrade (180 for fan-assisted), 400 degrees Farenheit or Gas Mark 6.

Have ready a mini muffin tin – you will need to use more than once as recipe makes 16 pies.

Roll out the pastry and cut out 16 x 7.5cm or 3 inch discs. Use the trimmings to cut out 16 pastry star shapes.

Use discs to line the mini muffin tin. Place 1 teaspoon of mincemeat on each disc and top with a star shape having moistened the base with a little water.

Brush star shape with a little water and sprinkle with caster sugar.

Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
